DigMyPics, I wanted to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the excellent job you did with my order. Every aspect of the process was done well, on time, and at the cost specified. Both our kids, who live in Colorado and San Francisco, appreciated seeing the pictures on your web site as soon as they were available. That is a great touch! Before I used your service, I took about 25 slides to a national camera chain store in Pittsburgh for a trial run. I wish I had sent those 25 slides to you because you can certainly see the quality difference. Again, my thanks for a job well done, and at a very reasonable cost. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to recommend you to others.

I have just viewed my digitized photos online. I couldn't wait to see them in my hands.They are wonderful!! I had over 300 photos that I wanted to stay in a certain order and you did it! Thank-you for your attention to detail with my memories. I had tears as I was watching them all together...I can't imagine how the DVD with the music will impact me. I was a nervous wreck sending all of my families old treasured slides several states away...but I was more than pleasantly surprised. You guys kept me updated on my order during every stage so that I knew it wasn't getting lost in the shuffle. I've used Dig-my-Pics 3 times now and I've been totally happy with the results every time. First I did 2,000 slides to .tiff on dvd, then 900 slides to .jpg for my mother and finally I had them copy the original stuff again in case I ever damaged them. Service is excellent and they're very concerned with customer satisfaction. I hope they stick around for a long time! Thanks, Nancy

I have received DigMyPics' digitalized conversion of my 35mm slides, and must say that I am less than impressed with the quality of the product. On your website, you go into great detail demonstrating the time and effort you put into the scanning process, providing "examples" of how you are able to correct many of the defects of slide aging, and showing several impressive examples of the digitalization of customers' slides. For my slides, I find little evidence of any quality improvement -much less quality control- and have had to spend many hours editing your digitalized product, repairing gross lighting and tint problems, among others. I know that there are several choices available to consumers in selecting a company to digitalize their slides and photos. I chose DigMyPics, at somewhat of a cost premium, because I believed that the quality you promised was worth it. Unfortunately, that quality was missing in the product I received. Everything turned out great! You converted all 1300+ slides beautifully! The DVD Movie with music is outstanding. I bought enough to send my kids each one for Christmas. They always want to see the slides when they come to visit. Now they can see them anytime they want, and can show them to their kids. I have a ton of photographs in boxes that, like many people, I have intended for years to sort through and put in scrapbooks, but have never gotten around to doing it. I think I'll sort through them and send the best to you so you can digitize them for me. Thanks again!

I was delighted with the final resulting DVD prepared from a box of pictures of my mother that I sent to Digmypics. My instructions were followed exactly. The music was added with perfect timing. I could even make a couple of small changes after submitting and mailing my order. Liz and Tara were wonderful. The Custom DVD is a lasting tribute of my mother that would have made her proud. I must recommend Digmypics without reservation and thank them for the fast work and for taking care of my original pictures. I am already planning another order.

I have a substantial collection of slides, but I have gone all digital in recent years. The fear of losing my original slides with no digital back-up made me search the internet; I have a slide scanner myself but with 5000 slides the task was just not feasable. DigMyPics certainly seemed like the most professional service available, and when one looks into time spent by doing it oneself, the price is definitely reasonable. Of course I dreaded sending slides in the mail. I divided my pictures into four different batches, so not to loose it all in case something went wrong. Luckily everything got there and back in one piece (although I taped my trays shut after the first batch having been ripped partly open and one slide tray had partially opened and two slides fallen out - but they had both stuck to the amount of tape I had used in the outer wrapping..)Be paranoid when wrapping! I had four boxes returned to me as four different shippings, and one of these were actually stopped in Norwegian custom and charged for the value of the work performed. This was rather a substantial amount (VAT is more than 20% of cost..), and I was VERY happy the other three batches were NOT stopped in Custom when I realised they can actually charge you for having bought services abroad.. Looking through the scanned slides and thumbnail books was like Christmas eve. The quality of the scanning was very good - when slides aren't all that sharp, I actually think it's the quality of my original slides that are a bit grainy. Feedback from DigMyPics was always quick and to the point. I had DigMyPics return my pictures after I had received the digital version, and then I risked the cheapest overland version of US Parcel mail - you can check their price lists for what the return should cost (I disagreed on the charge from DigMyPics on this and they reduced the charge.) I am very happy to have everything on digital media with security copies stored elsewhere. Thumbnailbooks are a "MUST" for quick reference.
