We sent 50 year old 8mm film to be made into DVD. The film contained pictures of my husband's Grandfather on his 100th birthday. My husband is now 72yrs, and was going to see relatives in Minn. & wanted to take the DVD with him. You let us know by e-mail & phone how things were going and as we had waited till the eleventh hour to send the film you called to say that it would reach us the day he was leaving. Imagine our suprise when we recieved this special DVD by express mail the day BEFORE he was to leave. I can't tell you how much this touched us. I used your service two years ago to convert 1,000 slides into digital images, and this year I sent you 69 reels of 8 mm film. Both times the order was finished earlier than you said, and the quality was excellent. It is nerve wracking mailing these things across the country and I was tempted to use a local service, but your service and price are so great I keep coming back. Thanks.

Thanks DigMyPics for the excellent job you did for me. I was a little bit nervous about handing over my earliest family pictures to you to digitalize. But you were fast, efficient, kept me informed every step of the way, and are totally reasonable in price. I found the services through Internet search. They are the least cost of the web sites that I found. Their service was very prompt and courteous. They replied to every query promptly & satisfactorily. Results are beyond my expectation. For a lot of over 20 year old slides the pictures obtained are excellent. There was no attempt at all to suggest additional work with the lure of getting "better" results. I appreciate the integrity. Based on my experience I can recommend their services without any hesitation

My experience with your firm has been entirely positive except for one area that you can easily correct. I will definitely be back with more business. Being somewhat tech savvy, I asked one of your representatives on the phone about whether a DVD would work on my 6-7 year old desktop with CD drive because I was concerned about the DVD format. I was sure she told me it would work. I don't remember her name and it's possible there may have been misunderstanding on either or both sides. However, I was disappointed when my order arrived and the DVD did not work even after downloading your conversion software. So, I called your number again and was told I needed a DVD drive. $80 later everything turned out fine. It would be very simple to make the DVD/CD drive distinction clear on your website and instruct your reps to make that clear to potential customers.

I received the two orders I just had done and am absolutely delighted. I've given your name to other parents who want to pass on their family photos to all the kids without worrying about who gets what. They are beautifully done and exceeded my expectations. You even enhanced some that I thought couldn't be restored. Thank you so much.

Last year I sent in over 300 slides from 1958 to 1974. They were buried in the basement for years, and I hoped they could be restored to photo's. Your company did a fantastic job. We had an impromptu family reunion and everyone was thrilled with the photo's. My Mom was ill and uable to attend the reunion. I sat with her one Sunday in September and watched the slides of our family. We had a great time laughing and reminicing. She became very ill later that day. She died a week later. Her death was unexpected and it was wonderful to share those memories with her. We played the CD of the slide on the computer during the bereavement brunch. Everyone commented on the quality of your work and wanted the name of your company. Thank you for your wonderful company and service.

I am very pleased with the service I received. They are much better than I imagined and appreciate all the attention you displayed in sorting them as to group or subject, which I had not done. I had no idea they would be so sharp and vivid as if they had recently been taken by a digital camera. We are preparing more to send to you. I looked around and did my homework before selecting a vendor like DigMyPics. I had over 400 Kodachrome slides dating back into the 70's. According to various websites only a Nikon 9000ED can create quality scans. After testing various hardware and software available to me I looked around for vendors willing to work with me on the slides. DigMyPics was not only prompt on all communications including email but agreed to test scan several of the slides on both the Nikon 5000ED and their 9000ED. I selected the 9000ED and they again performed test scans at 3000dpi and 4000dpi as we thought artifacts might show up at the higher resolution. The end result was that all 417 scans exceeded my greatest expectation. They show beautifully on my 37" display and will be print ready with some minor photoshopping. Thanks for being flexible and exceeding my expectations. As well thanks for doing the work here in the states as I was not willing to allow my slides which are not replaceable to go overseas no matter what the cost savings.

I cannot say how delighted I am with the whole DigMyPics experience. Seriously, from the initial application to the day the cd arrived, everything was great. The communication by email was always efficient and personalized. I will definitely use this service again, and would recommend it to my friends and family.
