I found a box of old slides languishing in my basement and sent them to DigMyPics to be digitized and put on a DVD. What a friendly, cooperative company they are. Gone are the slide carousels and the parts to repair Dad's projector. You will be totally in awe [and with significant emotion] when viewing your digitized slides and reel to reel movies. You single copy media is carefully tracked and converted. Email frequently provides you an update. If you think you did a great job shipping, prepare to be impressed with the return delivery. I spoke with the person doing the work and got an education. The reels are oiled to clean. In addition to computer media, all reels were copied to new master reels. All work is done here in the USA, n-o-t shipped off shore where they can omit copying for some unclear decision. Over 560 slides and 680 feet of film now reside on CD. All family members receive this special holiday gift. A quality and professional experience where you will find immediate value in this one-time investment.

I really enjoyed getting some pictures from my "Advantix" film that I had been keeping in a box for over 10 years. These were some very important pictures to me and I wanted them kept more than just in a printed form. My Service in Afghanistan is now preserved and in better condition than I imagined. I admit I was concerned shipping these most of the way accross the States to a company I googled searched for, but I am happy. I recieved quick responses when I asked questions, loved the ability to not pay for pictures I didnt want and the preview on the site. Also downloading the pics as soon as I was done was a big plus. Very professional to do business with. I am now in the process of boxing up negatives from our wedding from 16 years ago. I am not worried at all this time.

Just finished viewing and downloading converted slides from the "best years of our life" in the 60s and 70s. With no other way to view them without buying a projector, I was going to toss them out. What a marvelous experience!!! My mother found a box with home movie reels from the mid 1960 and gave them to me. I never though that they could be saved and restored. I found about Digmypics in the internet and I made the decision to send them the movies (Since I thought the movies were lost I decided to take a chance). Fabulous: I searched a long time to locate a company that was able to transfer my 8 mm reels that dated back to 1940. The final product was like the film was almost new.The quality is something like I never expected.Now the second and third generations will be able to see their family they never knew.
