We just received the dvds from the 1600 slides we sent dating back 35-50 years. My sister and I cried when we saw the end product. Absolutely fabulous journey through our childhood travels. We can hardly wait until our mom and other sister open their presents and see the dvd. Our slides were a disorganized mess that no one could enjoy, and now we can watch them anytime by pushing a button. And, we can print pictures of any of them. This was the best money we ever spent. My wife and I decided to give copies of our 35 mm slides to our two children for Christmas, something I wish that my father had done for me. We shipped off about 1800 slides around Thanksgiving hoping that we would receive the files back in time to burn DVD's as Christmas presents. They arrived with a week to spare and we were elated with the quality of both the digital scans and the customer service. I was contacted several times with suggestions about how to improve the end product (for example, higher dpi for a few 110 slides). I was kept informed of the progress of the work and assured that it would be completed in time for Christmas. The DVD's were organized in a manner that made my sorting and re-burning fairly straightforward. All of the scans were oriented correctly both vertically and left-right. Thanks so much for this work. I sent more than 1,800 slides, representing 50 years of memories for my family. Needless to say, I was very nervous about sending such priceless memories in to a company to be scanned. DigMyPics kept me updated every step of the way -- letting me know they arrived safely, when the scanning was done, when they were shipped back. I now have a wonderful digital archive of my slides, as well as a DVD set to music. I can't wait to see the reactions of my mother and siblings on Christmas morning when they open such a special gift!

They beat their estimated project turnaround time. The quality of our Family Slide show with slides from 1943 through 1981 was great. I was extremely pleased with my whole experience with DigMyPics starting right from the beginning with the informative, easy to understand web site. I could not believe the improvement in quality in the images from the slides, some of which were 34 years old. I ordered copies of the discs for each of my children. I had more than 250 color slides that were taken during trips to Scandinavia and California which I hadn't looked at it in at least 15 years because I no longer own a slide projector. DigMyPics! did a first-rate job of converting them to high-quality digital pictures and placing them onto a high-resolution DVD. The company's Website was very informative and easy to navigate, the packing and shipping process was straightforward, the turnaround time was reasonable, and the end results were excellent. DigMyPics! kept me informed of the status of my order every step of the way, too, which I found most reassuring. The ability to once again enjoy my long-forgotten vacation pictures and to share them with friends and family was well worth the expense (about $230)! Overall, this was a very positive experience.
