It was a plesant surprise to see my self a young man once again today. These film, I made when I was nineteen years old. I know my family will get a kick out of these transferes. And I think they will come in time for Christmas. The batch you did for me in June was just wonderful, and every one was pleased to see themselves so many years younger!! In the fall of 2012, I had about 2,000 slides that I needed scanned. After performing some cursory research, I narrowed my search to just three scanning companies on the internet. (Local companies and many internet companies were eliminated because of costs). DigMyPics appeared to cater to my top concerns: image quality, reasonable price, and excellent customer communication. While I wasn't looking for a quick return of my scanned images, reviews indicated good performance there as well. I submitted an initial 800 slides to DigMyPics. The email updates on the progress of my order gave me good confidence that DigMyPics was a well managed company. Initially, I didn't think much of the ability to review and delete scanned slides, but I did use this feature for about 20 slides - this saved a few dollars. The resulting scanned images completely met my needs, and several were quite a bit better than I was expecting. In fact, the results were so good that I sent another 1,200 slides for scanning - with equally excellent results. Now that I've used this service twice, for a total of about 2,000 slides, these are the top reasons they have exceeded my expectations: 1) Excellent customer communication. I really appreciated having the email updates on the progress of my order. 2) Online viewing of my scanned images. 3) Excellent quality of the scanned images. Everything they promise on their web site turned into reality for me. 4) Reasonable pricing. Far better than a few local businesses. Perhaps comparable to competitors, but I believe the price for this quality cannot be beat. 5) Good turn around time. I wasn't in a hurry, so their promised turn around time was fine for me. They were well within the durations listed on their web site. 6) Care of my slides. I had bundled slides into groups. My slides were all returned to me with this exact same bundling - this company cares about my precious pictures! 7) Folders. While bundling my slides to ship to DigMyPics, I discovered that they will gladly (for no charge if the bundles are large enough) put each grouping of slides into its own folder. I didn't think this would be important to me, but now I recognize that this was a very useful service. In short, DigMyPics far exceeded my expectations on services I needed as well as in their quality, communication and services. Thank you! BillH

My Dad loved to take photos and back in the day, they were all on slides. He had a slide projector from the 1950s and a screen that we set up in the living room. We gathered on the couch with our snacks and strolled down memory lane with laughter and sometimes a few tears. I hadn't seen any of those images in 25 years. I sent about 86 slides to digmypics with very low expectiations. When I was sent the final result, I was absolutely delighted. There were slides that were so dark that I could barely make them out and digmypics turned them into beautiful images. Amazing work. I will be sending more soon. I gave DigMyPics old slides that were in metal frames. They scaned the set and coverted them to JPG format, and send me a CD. I have printed the slides and can tell you that given the age of the materials, they did a fine job. My family is really pleased with the results. They were also prompt, and very courteous to work with. Norm

After a long process of checking out many scan companies, on the internet and local, I chose Digmypics. Why? They ID'd the quality equipment used, offered three DPI options, and the shipping to and from options were flexible. Upon receipt, Digmypics notified me and explained what step they were in and kept me updated throughout the process. I really liked being able to view the initial and enhanced digitized photos on their web page. When I received my finished photos (all 638 of them), I downloaded them into iPhoto, made several events, and did some personalized tweaking on them. Now, they are much better then the original photos. So, I made many CDs and plan to make slideshows to share with friends and relatives. Now, some of my photos are posted on facebook. I'm very please with everything about my order with Digmypics. Also, customer service folks (techs answering the phone, I guess) were very knowledgeable and helpful. Norm

We quit watching our family movies in the '70s when the film kept breaking so I knew I had only one chance to get them transferred and I'm so glad I chose Digmypics.com. I sent a DVD to my 87 yr old aunt of her as a teen getting off the school bus. Our movie and slide family history is going to the 3rd generation in format they can watch on any TV or digital picture frame. Thanks from our whole family.

I've placed three orders with DigMyPics and have been completely satisfied with the experience. The first order was for >100 slides. I had close to 400 I needed to scan, but was worried that the slides might get lost in transit, so I hedged my bet, sent about a third of them, and was really delighted with the whole experience. They're great about communicating while the job is underway. The scan quality was excellent and I got all my slides back safe and sound. Since then, I've done two more batches. I highly recommend DigMyPics.
