I tried it myself and failed miserably. I have now processsed 2 orders with Digmypics and working on 2 more. Outstanding service in every way. To name a few: timely, courteous, excellent communications, responsive to requests, dependable, and exceptional quality of end product. I especially liked being able to view the images on-line as they were scanned and then the ability to cull up to 20% after they had been enhanced....and the enhancements were beyond my expectations. These are 45 year old slides stored in the basement for years. Great Job!

For months, I have been thinking about having some of my old pro levels and family transparencies scanned by some agency. The old hanging slide holders were no longer realistic or immediately accessible for digital review or archiving. Several of my old slides also had dust artifacts. I could not have been more impressed with the work completed by DigMyPics. In fact, they now have a system that allows a client to download the digitals even before the transparencies and the DVD are mailed back. For an earlier order, I had a couple of old 8mm film loops digitized. Again, what impressive results!

Some time ago I undertook to sift through about 3 thousand 35mm slides that my grandfather took...some travel photos but mostly family photos. Most of these slides are 50-60+ years old and were in pretty sad shape...dusty, dirty, deteriorating. I didn't have high hopes! A friend recommended that I send them to DigMyPics. Believe me when I tell you that, while viewing the real time scans online, my family and I were stunned at how good they looked and this was before they were enhanced by the staff of alchemists at DMP. The dust/dirt was gone! When we saw them after they were enhanced we simply couldn't believe it! They looked like they were taken yesterday! Excellent, high quality work digitizing my slides shot in Pakistan while I lived there 1966-1971. This insures that my memories of those years will be preserved. Having seen these results, I will now proceed with conversion of several thousand more slides from other trips I have made since I first started shooting pictures in 1955. These reflect experiences that cannot be replicated, so preservation is of paramount importance to me.

I just received back my original slides and the CD with the scanned photos. These slides were from the 1950s and 1960s, which made them so important to our family. The process from beginning to end was amazingly efficient, simple and fast. Your website is very informative, and when I called, a friendly, knowledgeable person answered my few questions. You kept me informed of every step, and I could reply to an email--none of this no reply stuff! This is just the first segment. I sent a few of my old slides to several different companies to have them scanned, I had 1700 old family photos on slides that needed to be scanned and I wanted to make sure I was sending them to the best place available to have them done.
