Thank you, digmypics, for scanning 1500+ slides for me!. Right from the beginning the process was smooth and unproblematic. Questions were answered within no time. Preview of pictures worked well and the end result is perfect. I will highly recommend your service to anyone who is looking for such a service. And thanks for discarding the old slides too!

When my parents scaled down and moved from their house into a small apartment, I offered to take the 1000's of slides and 8mm film that my father had taken over the years. Initially, I had bought a small hand-held viewer to do some initial weeding out of slides. When I had confidently eliminated 1/3 of duplicates or poor quality slides, it was time to decide how to digitize them. I considered scanning them myself but was daunted by the task. I also wanted to make sure they were done well. When I saw the price of what it would cost to have them scanned, I balked. For several years. Fast forward five years and my dad's 80th birthday is quickly approaching. He had been asking about the slides for quite awhile so I bit the bullet and sent everything off to digmypics based on the reviews I read. It was a scary thing to send off 50+ year old priceless slides and movies. The communication from digmypics was outstanding. They emailed me at every stage with updates or questions. I called a couple of times and spoke to very helpful people. I just received all my digitized photos and movies and I am beyond thrilled. I have already created a slideshow with music that my dad loves (iMovie/iDVD) that I will play for him during his very special birthday. Could I have saved money by scanning them myself? Undoubtedly (that's why I am giving them a 4 out of 5). But I knew I would be spending hours with the slideshow and was already overwhelmed at that prospect. I also preferred having them in a professional's hands. I would definitely recommend didmypics for preserving your priceless memories.

Words can not express our gratitude and gratefulness to Digmypics for an amazing job. They transferred and restored 48 rolls of 8mm film for me. The films were half a century old! I had copies made for all my family and they were equally amazed and have spent hours watching dvd after dvd! We are very pleased with our 8mm film to DVD conversion from DigMyPics. Our movies were tattered to the point that they were sent back to us by another conversion service as not salvageable. DigMyPics was able to convert all of our reels except for one which was particularly degraded. We are thrilled with the outcome and can highly recommend DigMyPics!!!

To surprise our children at a major family celebration we decided to have a scanning and slide movie service scan our slides after I had filtered out the 1186 good ones from the lot of 2700 slides. Our plan was to convert these into a slide movie. We selected digmypics based upon searches on the internet. The result was an outstanding job. All of what they claimed that they do - they did. As an Interventional Radiologist, and amateur photographer I have always been rather compulsive, and a perfectionist. The folks who scanned, post - processed and did the quality review on my 1,500 slides worked very hard and succeeded beyond my expectations. They must have the patience of Job, as I asked for considerable post - processing; and they never complained, just did everything until I was completely satisfied. Thank you.

WOW... just wow. It's been over a decade and I've never even seen most of these images beyond peering at teensy slides. I simply cannot believe how gorgeous these images are. I am beyond excited. The quality is everything I hoped for, and up to my super-high professional-photojournalist standards. The video footage is stunning. All images are crisp and clear and beautiful. And I couldn't believe the price... for once, 'too good to be true'... isn't. It really IS true. I am so so so glad I trusted these guys with my memories. FABULOUS.
