I used Digmipics to digitize about 500 old photos. From beginning to end, their service was absolutely flawless. They have this thing down to an absolute science. It was very easy to reach a person to talk to when I had questions about the process at the beginning, and they answered emails very quickly when I had questions about their products (I ordered some storage boxes) later on. Preparing the order form and the shipping label on-line was a breeze. Best of all, they handled my photos individually and with respect. The images were presented to me in the exact order I had sent them, all oriented properly. Then the photos were returned in the same order. I recommend this company very highly and without reservation

I chose digmypics to digitize about 40 slides that I took in 1970. Since it was such a small number, I was willing to take a chance, and wouldn't be devastated if something went wrong. As it turned out NOTHING went wrong. The best part was that I could pick up the phone and talk to a REAL person. As a senior citizens, that was very important. I was notified as soon as my slides arrived at their facility. They had one question. I was able to call digmypics and talk to someone. (Sorry I forgot to write down the name) The young woman was able to look at my order and explain the question I had received. I answered it and all was taken care of. As soon as I hung up I knew everything would be fine. A few days later I was notified that my sides were ready for review. I chose to keep all of them. After a few more days they were being shipped and I could download them onto my computer. I have a Mac and read they warning that I might not be able to download from the website. As it turned out I was able to download with no problems and was able to use the pics right away to continue my project. Thank you digmypics! I will be sending the rest of my slides very soon!

This is the second time that I have used your service and I will have to say that you do an excellent job. You help when it's needed and walked me through every step of the way along with the keeping me informed of the progress of my order. I guess the best part of transferring the film is to find out what is on them and so far we have not been disappointed! I am very pleased with the work that was done. I had slides digitized. I had several email communications with this company and each was answered quickly. I felt like I was a valued customer. I was worried about mailing my slides but everything worked out very well. I am super pleased with the quality and loved that I could look them over and delete unwanted slides and then I didn't have to pay for them. I had thought that I had taken some pretty good photos back in the 70s, but today's cameras are so much better! I had asked that the photos be put on a thumb drive and I also purchased the index prints so that I don't have to hunt for photos. I am very pleased with this experience. I just recently found some of my parent's slides and am going to get them digitized as well. I would use this company again since I had a great experience with them.

Wonderful experience with this company. They digitized the photos I was able to save after Hurricane Harvey flooding on the Texas Gulf Coast. They made me 'smile, again'. Service was fast, great scanning and turn around time. Beautiful scanning, images better than they were. Great communications on the progress of the project. I highly recommend them. Thanks.

Based on a recommendation from The Wirecutter, I spent a couple of weeks editing down slides that I wanted to digitize, and sent them to DigMyPics. They look great! Cleaned up nicely, but no evidence of over processing...better than I expected. Excellent sharpness and color correction. (Agfa slides started out a bit lush; some Ektachromes had faded; all looked way better after digitizing). I rejected a couple dozen slides that were not as interesting when viewed more closely. DigMyPics was good at customer service also, answering quickly when needed. My only complaint...estimated time was very optimistic. With 2 day shipping each way, it was almost 6 weeks total. These were slides from the 1970's and 1980's, so I had no reason to rush now, but the expected turn around was much less for an order of this size, and I think it would be good to be upfront about that. 130 35 mm slides in excellent condition sent in two groups (identified by rubber bands around each set). Images returned in two files. Slides not exactly scanned sequentially; I needed to change file names (slides are from two trips), but most were in a reverse order (the larger set was scanned in two batches). Very satisfied with service and results. Not much, if any, image improvement necessary.

I've looked for a service to digitize my slides for several years now. One of my chief challenges was the fact that I have both 126 Instamatic slides as well as 35mm slides. I was extremely satisfied with the final work as well as the customer service responses of digmypics. I couldn't be happier and recommend them highly.
