My first order with digmypics was for a large group of slides. The digital copies allowed us to see more detail than we had ever seen with a slide projector. My most recent order was for old family pictures, some more than 100 years old. I am very pleased with the quality and especially appreciate that sizes were standardized. Old 2 by 3 prints came out just as clear and as easy to see as the larger prints.

This was the first time we ever transferred old 8mm film to digital so I was a little nervous about sending off 65 year old film to some unknown Company. I started off by finding a long list of Companies that offered this service and then began eliminating each of the Companies for one reason or another as I did my research. I was left with digmypics and it was absolutely the best decision. They emailed me when they received our film, kept me advised of where our order was in their processing and emailed when our film and new DVD was being sent to me. They ended the process by asking me to review the DVD to make sure I was completely satisfied and then offered the chance to make a comment about the experience. Here's my comment: I was COMPLETELY satisfied.

I'm always a little skeptical about using online services. I found digmypics through a Google search, and gave it a try. I was utterly impressed! Not only was the pricing very fair, the work was done fast, and with excellent quality. My photos and slides were treated with care and came back to me well protected. When I asked questions via e-mail, a real person answered with real answers, with the attention that made me feel like I was the only customer! I'll most certainly be back!

I am very happy with the quality of the digitized media. The old movies show great on our 50" LED television! digmypics staff were excellent at keeping us informed of the order status and I appreciated the option of downloading the digitized movies. They also returned the original boxes and media in as good of condition as they received them. Thank you for the great service! I am going to get my next shipment ready to send for processing.

I just got my slides and digitized files of them back. Digmypics did an absolutely awesome job. The results are better than I expected. The slides came back in good order, probably way cleaner than before. I am definitely assembling my second order for them. I have posted a link to Digmypics on my facebook timeline and will recommend this great service to friends and family.

I found this company randomly and decided to use them. My Video turned out beautiful and they were very patient with me on changes. I also had 50 year old reel film transferred to DVD - wonderful job of preserving my family's memories. Wonderful Job! Very satisfied. I will continue to use them and recommend them.

The folks at Digmypics did a fantastic job scanning my slides. The quality of the scans was excellent--everything I had hoped for and all that they promised. My order was rather large (or at least I think so). I sent them 2200 Kodachrome slides dating from 1962 to 1982. Digmypics says up front that large orders are placed in a queue that make take a week or so to get to and then it takes a couple of weeks for large orders. My order took 4 weeks including some checking that the staff took to make sure they did as I requested. Kodachrome being what it is (was), the color was excellent even after all these years. The slides had been stored in the original containers over the years and were pretty much dust free. Digmypics cleaned all the slides and the dusty ones came out pretty clean--a couple of old boxes that were in bad shape to begin with still had a little dust that I easily removed by me post processing. I selected the 2200 slides from about 8000 to begin with and then rejected about 200 (~10% vs the allowed 20%) from the scanned batch. There was no hassle--Digmypics discounted the price as promised. The slides were returned to me as carefully wrapped as when I sent them out. Because of the size of my order the finished product was, at the suggestion of the staff, sent to me on a 500 GB drive. I paid for the drive but it was a good suggestion and I appreciated it. My scans were done at 2500 dpi which is the resolution I need to make Shutterfly books at 8 x 11. I had both jpg's and tiff's made and the color quality and resolution are excellent. I also ordered the "proof" photo book which is definitely worth the extra price. Another thing I liked was being able to go on line and see the slides as they were scanned (not in real time but right afterwards). What you see is low resolution but it's good enough to track progress. And, finally, I have to say the staff was very supportive. As a first time customer I had lots of questions about packing, secure shipping, choice of resolution, etc., and I always got prompt replies by email and telephone. At the moment I'm working on preparing color negatives from another 8000 pictures that I took from 1982 through 2002 (when I finally switched to a digital camera). I've talked with the staff to get tips on how to do this (even more tedious) job and I'm going to use Digmypics again for the negatives. In short I've had a great experience and can unreservedly recommend Digmypics.

Thank you, digmypics, for scanning 1500+ slides for me!. Right from the beginning the process was smooth and unproblematic. Questions were answered within no time. Preview of pictures worked well and the end result is perfect. I will highly recommend your service to anyone who is looking for such a service. And thanks for discarding the old slides too!

When my parents scaled down and moved from their house into a small apartment, I offered to take the 1000's of slides and 8mm film that my father had taken over the years. Initially, I had bought a small hand-held viewer to do some initial weeding out of slides. When I had confidently eliminated 1/3 of duplicates or poor quality slides, it was time to decide how to digitize them. I considered scanning them myself but was daunted by the task. I also wanted to make sure they were done well. When I saw the price of what it would cost to have them scanned, I balked. For several years. Fast forward five years and my dad's 80th birthday is quickly approaching. He had been asking about the slides for quite awhile so I bit the bullet and sent everything off to digmypics based on the reviews I read. It was a scary thing to send off 50+ year old priceless slides and movies. The communication from digmypics was outstanding. They emailed me at every stage with updates or questions. I called a couple of times and spoke to very helpful people. I just received all my digitized photos and movies and I am beyond thrilled. I have already created a slideshow with music that my dad loves (iMovie/iDVD) that I will play for him during his very special birthday. Could I have saved money by scanning them myself? Undoubtedly (that's why I am giving them a 4 out of 5). But I knew I would be spending hours with the slideshow and was already overwhelmed at that prospect. I also preferred having them in a professional's hands. I would definitely recommend didmypics for preserving your priceless memories.
