I had actually purchased a 35mm digitizer. But it totally smoked my laptop and the images were NOT good. Then I found out that it only did 35mm - not any of the medium format slides my Dad took in the late 60s. So I looked around and I found DigMyPics! Best decision I ever made. Now I just need to get the remaining 300 slides done - :)

Hi it's me again. This is my second time telling you about my films I had two 300 foot ones done this time. Again they turned out great. I got so emotional seeing them I started to cry. I never knew my two grandmothers got together like this. There they were sitting on the beach side by side. Thanks for reminding me that I had a GREAT life growing up!

Every phase of the service was as advertised and met expectations. Communication was good. Quality of the scans from old slides was excellent. Originally, I was going to do the scanning myself, but I'm glad I didn't. It still was pretty labor intensive (as expected) to import each digital photo into iPhoto, give it a descriptive name and original date and file (about a minute per photo). But I now how a timeless, searchable, high-quality archive. I would use your services again.

This was my second time to use digmypics, and I am just as happy as I was the first time. This time, I had forgotten to put all the slides into the first box I sent, and I was worried that the order would be confused, or that I would have to pay more for two orders. I contacted the company via email, and got a quick response from Annette, who helped me through a couple of bumps (of my own making) and made everything go smoothly. I love the way they respond personally to questions, reply to emails, notify you of the status of your work all along the way, and even let you respond to a status email if you have questions! I don't know of any other company that does that. And the people answering questions actually help you in a knowledgeable way; they're not simply there to upsell you. I do a lot of digital projects and have done a huge amount of my own scanning, but what I get from digmypics is much better than what I can do myself. They do a beautiful job, and I have no cleanup to mess with (dust spots, etc.) afterwards. In addition, I get high resolution scans from them that would be very time-consuming for me at home. I intend to continue using them, if they can keep up the standards they have been maintaining so far.

I’d put off going through 70+ inherited carousels of slides for 20 years. With a major family celebration this summer, I decided now was the time. I had a time constraint, and DigMyPics fit my needs perfectly. The service was timely as advertised, gave me maximum flexibility and provided scanned files of excellent quality for a reasonable price. Their customer service is also efficient and responsive. I’m very happy with the results and have recommended their service to others.

This is the second set of color slides I've had digitized by Digmypics. Just as for the first time, the pictures are big, sharp and colors are magnificent. In one photo, the hairs on a flower stem are perfectly clear. I use these pictures in my blog on mountains and nature--last night I posted using three of the new pictures and immediately received an appreciative comment! In rating my experience, I checked "Met My Expectations" only because I knew from experience how excellent a job you do. If this had been my first time, I would have checked "Exceeded My Expectations."

I had all of my slides scanned and they did a fantastic job. Several slides I thought were lost they were able to repair and look just like they were recently taken. There were only 3 or 4 slides that were unrepairable out of 1045 slides. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking to have your slides scanned to a disc so they are easier to view.

This is the first time I have used an on-line service to scan slides. These slides were the only high quality existing pictures of a mobile recording unit our company, Omega Productions, had purchased in 1986 and converted into a more road worthy vehicle. I had no idea of what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised how organized the company was in communicating with me via email on each step of the process. I was kept abreast of each stage from receipt of the order through final payment on to shipment and ending with receipt of my order. The other item that impressed me was the quality I received with regard to the scanned images. I was able to request a high level of dpi as well as receive the scans as tif files on a DVD. I would highly recommend this company to any individual or company that might need scanning services of important pictures.

Digmypics personnel were very helpful, informative, professional and caring with my project of converting hundreds of slides to a CD to preserve our family's memories. The slides that I sent in to be converted were more than 50 years old. A while ago I sent some of the slides to a local photo shop to be converted. The results were terrible. As a result the slides were placed back in the closet. After the recent passing of my wife, I decided to try to have the slides converted again.. Fortunately I chose Digmypics to do the conversions. I couldn't be happier. The results were fantastic. Everyone I sent the pictures to remarked how great the photos looked. No one had seen the pictures in over 53 years. Again, thanks for doing such a teriffic job.
