I was very pleased with my experience using this company. This was the first time I had had slides digitized. Most of the information I needed was on the website. I e-mailed the one question I had and received the answer the next day. The company had one question about my order and e-mailed it to me. I was able to answer by e-mail. My slides were mailed on December 10 and I received the disk and picture booklet on December 22. I will definitely use this company again. Carol O.

I had tried another service to scan photos before this and I can say without a doubt that digmypics did a MUCH MUCH better job. Now I am going to send the motherlode to them. The best part about it is that you get regular updates on the progress, you can preview on the fly as they are getting scanned and they had some flexibility to do a few custom things I wanted. Keep up the good work!!

In general, some were better than my expectation, others less. The problem always seemed to be "too dark", with subsequent loss of definition in the too dark areas. Not sure where the difficulty lies in this problem. But many thanks to Amber for working with me to make improvements. Perhaps my expectations were too high. My parents recently found a number of old slide carousels and asked if I could help them do something with them. I attempted to scan them in myself which was painfully time consuming and the quality was terrible. I found digmypics.com online and sent my slides to them (300+ slides). The communcations I received from digmypics were frequent and helpful. The DVD I received in return was amazing - the quality was great and the thumbnail book really helped me organize the slides. I found tons of great pictures from my childhood that I had never seen before... I can't wait to give my parents copies of their old family photographs and a DVD slideshow for Christmas this year! This is my 3rd time using DigMyPics and the service and quality has been outstanding each time. They have digitized 8mm home movies, 35mm slides and, most recently, some 80+ year old B&W photos in terrible condition. The quality of their work and their attention to detail never ceases to amaze me, all at a great price. I will use them again and will continue to recommend them to friends and family. Thanks!!

I had 600 of my parents' prized possessions: slides over a 60-year marriage. A small survey and one test batch led me to digmypics. I sent several batches to prevent any transport mishap from wiping out the entire collection. The results are wonderful. The digmypics service is very definitely all it promises, and economical. My only complaint is that it's impossible to review scans without seeing the full resolution scan *and* the slide. There are several scans that are not sharp; some the left side is in focus but not the right, etc. These were slight defects that were not important for my purpose. If I needed superb scans on every slide, I'd need to review each carefully and send a few slides for a second round. But again -- this is a superb service. And don't even think of doing this yourself for 600 slides. The cost to your life expectancy will far exceed the digmypics bill.
