Hi. So far I liked the service but I do have one issue. I was not informed of how much space my movies would use. After putting them in order and giving them titles, I submitted the order. That is when I could see that it would take 2 DVD's to to accommodate my movies but by then it was too late. The problem is the second DVD will not be fully used so I am paying $8 for a DVD that is mostly empty. The customer should be informed of this. I have more movies I would like to transfer and would have sent more in order to fill up the second DVD. The service is good and I plan on using it again but having to pay for a full DVD that may only contain a 3 minute video does not seem right. Thanks.

I've used a few online companies for scanning and digmypics is by far the one I love the most. My pictures and negatives come back well packed and the scans are awesome. Other places have torn some of my pictures, lost one or two, negative scans are backwards, some had fingerprints scanned on them, and you can tell the scan processing at some places are automated because some of the pictures are just so off that no human would have let them pass. I've used digmypics before and I'll use them again for my large format wedding negatives in the future. I'll only trust digmypics with my wedding negatives, except I'm waiting for the prices to go down. Large format negative scans are expensive but I will not trust those memories to any other cheaper place!

I sent digmypics an old Hi-8 video cassette which I had to pry out of a broken Canon video camera. The tape itself got unwound and snapped when I pulled it from the camera. It contained 45 minutes of absolutely irreplaceable video of my son at 6-months, 8-months, and 1-year learning to walk and play. digmypics fixed the broken tape and tranferred it to a digital format on a zip drive where it will be safe forever. I couldn't be more pleased with their service. These guys rock!

Love seeing my parents and grandparents old films on dvd. My parents will love it also on their upcoming anniversary. Great job and very quick time frame to send and receive them back. I was very nervous to send them off in the mail and it was most reassuring all the emails that were sent to me after they had arrived at Digmypics and the continual updates of the progress with the film transfer. I would recommend your company to anyone.

Recently I sent 134 Kodachrome slides to digmypics. Some of them had scratches and a lot of dust others were ok but not great. I was curious to see how they would come back and was amazed at what I saw when they emailed them after finishing the work. The scratches and dust were gone and I was able to see detail that I didn't realize was there even when I looked at the original slides. I don't understand how they can get such fine quality from poor quality material - but they did and I will most certainly use them again.

I can't say enough great things about the awesome job they did and how exceptionally helpful their staff was at meeting my requests. When I realized that my order might be finished in time for my son's birthday, I talked to Andrew to see if part of my order could be sent to a different address. Andrew made the arrangements and kept me updated and confirmed each step along the way. Shane did a great job of scanning in record time. I found their website really easy to use and my packages were well-packed and arrived right on time. My cousin is putting together a collage for my granddaughter and by using the booklet, it was a piece of cake to select the images I wanted and email them in less than ten minutes! I'm so, so glad I found this company! They're over-the-top extraordinary!

We had about 1,800 feet of Super 8 (filmed from 1972 to 1981) converted to a .avi digital format on a flash drive. What a product we got in return for a reasonable amount of money! There were some very dark sections that digmypics's technology enhanced to be able to view that would otherwise have been lost. There were only two corrections we asked them to make, and they did so quickly before returning the final product. I'm using Microsoft's Movie Maker to make another flash drive copy in MP4 format for a back-up, and to edit the footage to add chapter titles and captions before distributing to family members. I will definitely recommend digmypics to anyone else who has old memories they want to preserve before the celluloid deteriorates.

I just got back my first two reels of 8mm film converted to .AVI I will be making short family movies from the results. The results are FANTASTIC! I couldn't be happier. The way they cleaned the film is apparent and they look sharp and colorful. Test: Success I will be loading a box and sending another batch as soon as I can. So glad I found digmypics. PS: customer service and email updates are excellent also.

We found an old 8mm film of a master of my wife's karate school. It was tucked away in a box she hadn't seen for years. We had no way to watch it, but digmypics saved the day! They helped me figure out what to do with it, then got to work. In no time at all we were sitting at our computer watching the film on the internet. How wonderful to see the master as a young man, at the top of his form. We ok'd it and the studio sent us our new DVD. Fast, convenient, and the best price we found on the web. Nice!
