As executor of my mother's estate, I had the challenge of sharing my parents huge collection of family 35MM film reels, slides and VHS tapes between myself and six siblings. Digmypics did an awesome job of digitally converting all of these items and making duplicate sets for each of us. Everything was top notch and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Communication and customer support was excellent. The only glitch was that the Silverlight software (used to view the film conversions in process to put in sequence and add section titles) was incompatible with the latest Firefox version on our Mac computer. However, I was able to work through that issue by using my husband's computer. Digmypics offers everything but tech support, so just be sure your system handles Silverlight if doing 35MM film conversions.

Good quality, on time, per quote. Saved me $ by recommending flash drive for my small order rather than paying for a hard drive. Also shipped via US mail saving more money. Treated my little 200ft. 8mm film order just as if it were a large order from an important client rather than one time order from unknown client.

Not wanting to store (and potentially lose) 75 years of photos, over the last 5 years, I've been having DigMyPics scan all my old photos and 16 mm film. Every single order has been perfect. They offer a variety of options for storage, the price is reasonable (yes, I could scan them myself, but it's taken 5 years just to organize them all), and the customer service is outstanding. Initially, I was a bit anxious about sending very old, precious and irreplaceable photos to a company. In planning a 90th birthday celebration we wanted to make a slide show of very old slides and photos. I found digmypics.com on line and was impressed with the web site. Taking a chance, I mailed off my beloved photos and Wa-La, as soon as they were received I had email confirmation and lots of helpful suggestions about my order. Hey there, I have just completed an order with you guys and am currently downloading all my pics as I type this. I have wanted to get my personal pictures scanned for a good amount of time and when my mom died, and passed a ton of her pictures to me, I figured now was the time to get them digitized so I could share them with my family. I searched for a long time for a place to get my pictures done and had narrowed it down to a few places but each of these places seemed to lack something personal to the process. I say personal because these pictures are personal to me and my family. They might not mean anything to any one else but to me they are small time capsules of memories and they are precious beyond measure. Your service was the only service I found where I felt like you cared not only about me as a customer but about my pictures as a whole The process started, for me, by sending you a multitude of emails. Each one was quickly answered with a courtesy that seems to be lacking in some of your competitors. Often one of the many people answering back would suggest something that might help but i never felt like you were trying to up-sell me to something. It felt, again, more personal. Like a dear friend saying, "Hey maybe you would like to do it this way?" Once the scanning process started i cant tell you how immeasurable the joy i and my family had watching your team put new scanned pictures into the folders. Every day was exciting, like a new treasure was brought out into the light. Furthermore, as someone who understands the process that you were going through to some extent, I was quite appreciative of the time and energy your team put in on the project. The fact that you take the time to hand scan, crop, and improve each picture that you touch gives me the confidence that my pictures were being treated how I would treat them and perhaps even better. This is the third time that I have used this company and absolutely LOVE the customer service and quality of the scanning. This was my third larger project in which I had them scan pictures from the last 40 years. Though I haven't received my package yet, from past experience, I know what to expect from them.
