This is the first time i had my 8mm film turned into DVD home video by professionals. I am very pleased with the work and short period of time it took for my return. The color, the high and lows, turned out great. I did know that nothing could be done with the movement in my film. Because it was mostly filmed on bumpy cobble stone Italian Roads and in a sports car. Plus my first time using the video camera. Great job to all that worked on my transfer. I will in the near future use you again to have my 200 ft of filing from Vietnam done. Thank you very much again.

Once again the folks at Digmypics exceeded my expectations. While some of the footage was grainy or over/under exposed by the camera operator - my Dad - much of what I can watch brought back wonderful memories which are now preserved and protected since nearly everyone shown has now passed on. For the five remaining relatives I will be sharing these movies with them. Thanks again to the terrific technicians at digmypics for their awesome work. Paul Summers

I chose Digmypics mostly as a result of a Wirecutter article naming them as one of the three best photo scanning services. The author tested several services in a disciplined, unbiased way and Digmypics rose to the top. After my father's passing, my siblings and I wanted to digitized hundreds of photos and slides from my parents. There were two batches desired by different siblings. The staff kept my photos organized just as I had requested which was important to me. They were able to scan several formats including one highly important photo of my grandmother in her youth that was in an old and attractive paper frame. The company website guided me through the details. It is organized and provides easy to understand content. The staff asked me clarifying questions through the process and kept me updated on their progress. The only disappointment was a question to the receptionist about adding metadata to the photo files. Many of the physical photos had notations on the back noting names, places and events. I was having trouble figuring out how to save this with the digital copies such that they could be seen on either Mac or PC platforms. The receptionist could not help me with this--a little surprising. It took me several hours to find the answer on the net. Perhaps it's just a training issue. Overall, I am pleased and will be using their service in the future for 8mm films and for my own photo collection. They offer good value in photo scanning.

We are delighted to have been guided to DigMyPics by our son who had a similarly successful experience! To have old photos from the 1950's in visible format and digitized for clarity - color and size, actually - is just amazing. We also appreciate the quality of service, including communication and support. We also like having access in different formats - thumbnails in book form, CD's, and downloadable files for the computer. Should cover future viewing, we hope! We look forward to looking at and sharing these photos and those in a previous order completed a few months ago. Thank you so much. Definitely worth it!!

So to start I would like to say Daniel is great. Very helpful and went out of his way by calling me the day I was to drop off the film. He told me how to get in or get the attention of staff after 5pm so that I wouldn't think the business was closed. Great job on the films. Prompt service. Just an all around good experience. Will be back if the need arises.

I took on a project for my aunt ~ her wedding pictures from 1967 which were negatives recently when she had them developed into pictures they came out a green tint, after many attempts at scanning the negatives, I could not get the color corrected. I found digmypics.com online and we were amazed in 2 weeks we got the results the color has been corrected. Thank you C Coniglio

I want to thank digmypics for the job they did on my pictures,the film I had was from the 60's 70's. They did a very good job and quickly. There was some stuff on the film I didn't want, they made sure it wasn't on my disk. Very easy to work with. Always available for any questions, no question was to silly. I have to say thank you to Daniel, from day one he answered questions and helped all he could. I have already told my friends about them.

I've had photos scanned before by other services, with adequate but lackluster results. This time I did my research and chose Digmypics based on other online reviews of quality and cost. It truly exceeded my expectations. Pricing was fair, communication back and forth each step of the way made me feel they were personally looking after my order, and the final results were amazing. It sounds like I'm getting paid for this review - I'm not. Just really impressed. The order of 500 slides were crisp. colors were right on. The 8mm film transfer made 50 year old home movies look better than ever. Films were cleaned, colors were brought back and they looked better than anyone in my family remembers from the original projections. Even When I opened the returned box, reviewed the thumb drive, and saw how files were labeled and organized, I smiled and thought, wow...this is how I would have done it myself. Truly a nice job folks. Worth every penny.
