How do I choose the best resolution for scanning?
Slides and Negatives: Scanned at 3800 DPI for optimal quality and detail preservation.
Choosing resolution for prints
Standard prints (4x6): Scanned at 600 DPI, which provides excellent quality for both digital viewing and printing. This resolution ensures your digital files are suitable for enlargements and will look great on modern high-resolution displays.
Smaller prints (less than 4x6): We recommend 1200 DPI to ensure the resulting digital file has sufficient detail for viewing and printing.
