    We cannot scan single frame negatives that have been cut from the strip.

    Picture Perfect Digitization

    Once your images our digitized by our team of preservation artists they will be placed on either a flash drive, a set of DVD's, or available for digital download. You will be able to choose how you wish to receive your image files at checkout. Your digital images will be delivered as JPEGs making them easy to share and store. If you order your images on DVD they will be combined to fit as many images on a single disc.

    Our preservation artists use compressed air and dust your images in order to remove loose dust. They are then scanned and color corrected to adjust for the discoloration of old images. They will look like the day the photo was taken!

    You can count on us to preserve your photos flawlessly, that includes preserving the order in which they were sent. Just make sure your images are packed securely inside the box to ensure their order does not shift in transit.

    These are images that require a little extra attention from our preservation artists. Most scanning services are only able to scan standard 35mm slides and negatives. We have developed custom scanning equipment specially designed for digitizing these less common formats.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Once your tapes are digitized by our team of preservation artists they will be placed on either a flash drive, DVD, or available for digital download. You will be able to choose how you wish to receive your image files at checkout. Your videos will be delivered as MP4 files making them easy to share and store.

    We count one tape as one item regardless of length it could have 1 minute of video or 8 hours.

    We do our best to try to get any video we can off of every tape. We actually can't know it's empty until we've transfered it so it still counts as an item. Some tapes have problems playing back or experience tracking issues. We will try transfering those tapes severall times on different machines. For that reason, a tape that can't be transfered will still count as an item even if we can't return any usable video to you from the tape.

    Yes, we will return all of your original tapes along with your newly digitized videos.

    We can splice back together tape to get your video back up and running we are however unable to repair broken tape housing or mold damaged tapes.

    We don't do any editing or correction to the video from video tapes. The video we return to you will be exactly as it plays back.

    Lights, Camera, Action!

You will be able to choose how you wish to receive your video files at checkout. Your movies will be delivered as MP4 files making them easy to share and store.

    We will consolidate and return your reels on new archival reels that are safer and easier to store along with all of your original reels and packaging. Film that is received on high quality archival reels will not be placed on new archival reels.

    We do everything we can to keep you home movies in order. If you have dates or reel numbers written on your film we will transfer them in logical order.

    Of course! film with sound does however require two separate transfers so we do count reels with sound as two reels.
