I needed to have 800 feet of 45 year old super8mm film digitized so that I could edit it on a computer and make clips for uploading to a website. I needed uncompressed AVI on an external drive to load on to my computer. I did a lot of research and inquiries into the different methods and pricing of transferring super8mm film to digital format through many companies. Some companies were less than forthcoming about there transfer methods and I found some transfer methods to be less desirable quality wise than others. After much thought, I decided to give digmypics.com a try. I liked their transfer method as well as the personal help I received by actually talking to a person at the facility on several occasions. I was not disappointed. Although there were a couple of issues with the initial transfer, which I viewed on their website once the film was uploaded, the film was recleaned and transferred a second time. This time around, I was very pleased with the outcome. They did an excellent job. I would definately recommend them for film transfer if you want quality and price.

Wow! What a terrific service at an excellent price. Seeing your memories pop up on the screen as they are scanned is a great feature. I used the medium quality scan and the results are a great balance of resolution and size. I highly recommend getting a loss-less quality file type such as TIFF over a lossy file type such as jpg.

I had agonized over releasing the slides that belonged to my family to anyone let alone people I didn't know. They did exactly as they said. They kept in touch, verified what I wanted through several emails. Then in the timeframe they promised I received them back. Safe and Sound. I had the dvds and photo album made. They are absolutely perfect. Better than I expected. Now I have something that can be handed down to future generations. It was well worth every penny I paid and I had 1,950 photos dating from 1950 - 1980. Wonderfully done. Thank you forever..........

We could not be happier. Our family history 1150 slides preserved for distribution to all of the family. Great cooperation with follow up copies in more than one format. The Picasa web upload was very speedy and provided immediate access worldwide. The final copy was excellent particularly since the original photo quality was not the best. We took the results in TIFF and JPEG. All results transferred to a low cost 32GB flash drive to create stocking stuffers for the holidays.

I am completely satisfied with the transfer of my video. These tapes were so special and priceless and we were unable to view them on our old equipment. I didn't know how they would come out, as they had a lot of static on them when we tried to view them. I had the tapes transferred to a hard=drive because I had 30+ hours of tapes. The outcome was wonderful, hardly any static. The sound is good, the video is great. Now I have my work cut out for me.... organizing, editing and copying for family members. I am very Happy and would recommend digmypics to everyone!
