Picasa is a powerful photo organization and photo editing application available from Google as a FREE download. The word 'Picasa' is a wordplay on the name of the Spanish painter, Pablo Picasso, and the Spanish word casa meaning "house".

Picasa is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Linux through Google. An older version is available for Windows 98 and Windows Me. There is also an iPhoto plugin or a stand-alone program for uploading photos available for Mac OS X 10.4 and later.

How can you use our Picasa upload service to get my photos faster?  Using Picasa's free software, you can download the photos we upload right to your computer.  Once your job is complete, just request the upload of your order. We'll start automatically moving your photos to Picasa and then send you an email when it's done.  Then just use the free Picasa software to copy them to your computer.

Why can't I just download my photos from you directly?  Browsers are designed with a security feature that prohibits the automatic download of files.  While you can easily download a single photo at a time, downloading all of your photos one by one would be very tedious.  Picasa solves this problem.
