Over the last 3 1/2 months we've worked hard to recover as many photos from
the ashes as possible.
We've also tried to match up the photos with their owners and we've been
largely successful with that effort.
Of the more than 110,000 photos we've recovered, roughly 2000 photos remain
that we have not been able to match up.
The effort to recover and restore the photos has been challenging and some of the
photos we recovered were in very poor condition.
Some photos required extensive restoration requiring many hours of labor on just
one single photo.
We hope you'll be able to help us find a home for the photos that remain. |
